Running a Coffee roasting plant is not just a job – it’s a passion! The creativity, innovation and problem-solving opportunities bring continuous learning, growth, and challenges that stimulate me! I find it enrichening to collaborate with my teams. I am truly grateful for the numerous opportunities I have had to lead my teams in launching initiatives ranging from introducing new products to spearheading the set-up of Kenya’s first coffee premix line.

A typical day or week in my life involves addressing critical operational issues. My work provides me with exposure to diverse individuals and cultures. I relish the opportunity to share my knowledge with colleagues and learn from experienced senior managers worldwide. Belonging to the ECOM family means embracing diversity, fostering innovation, adopting automated processes, and utilizing various software tools.

Every field work trip is the happiest time for me. I am kept busy by exciting projects like integrated weed management and fungi-coffee agroforestry. Belonging to the ECOM family means I can pursue what I love, while making a difference for farmers and coffee sustainability.
